The founder and sole shareholder of Feller Law Office, PC, LLO, is John D. Feller. He has been in private practice for over 30 years. Born and raised in rural Nebraska, he has spent his entire professional life in Northeast Nebraska representing area farmers, business people and working folks. In recent years he has focused his practice on estate & business planning, elder law, asset protection, long term care planning and Veterans and Medicaid benefits for seniors.
He knows how important it is to his clients that they be able to pass their life’s accumulation to their loved ones quickly and easily. He knows the importance of preserving the family farm or business for future generations. He especially realizes, from his personal experience with clients and family members, how devastating the emotional and psychological strain can be when a loved one needs long term health care. He understands the likelihood of financial ruin that clients face and the unbelievable anxiety, stress, fear, uncertainty and guilt these situations create.
John is a member of several professional organizations for attorneys. In addition to being a member in good standing of the Nebraska State Bar Association and the American Bar Association, he is also a member of Lawyers With Purpose. LWP is a national organization of lawyers focused on estate & business planning, elder law, asset protection, long term care planning and Veterans and Medicaid benefits. He is also a member of the National Association of Elder Law Attorneys. NAELA is an organization of lawyers that is also focused on elder law, asset protection, long term care planning and Veterans and Medicaid benefits.
In addition to serving his clients John has taken time to serve his state as well. John was appointed by the Governor of Nebraska to serve on Abstractors Board of Examiners. This Board is responsible for testing and regulating Registered Abstractors in the State of Nebraska. In addition to being a member of the Board he also served as Chairman. John was also appointed by the Governor of Nebraska to serve on the Board of Educational Lands & Funds. This Board was responsible for the management of state owned school lands.
When not helping clients he enjoys spending time with his family. He has been married to his high school sweetheart, Beth Ann, since 1974. They have 3 terrific children and 3 adorable grandchildren. Family activities and events are the focus of his personal life.
